It is common knowledge by now that Decaf Gives You Life, but did you know that decaf could also give you a Linea? More specifically a Linea Mini, at least if you live in the UK or Europe anyway. That’s the grand prize in Swiss Water’s new De Caf-Man Challenge, a remote coffee competition that puts participants on “a quest through a maze of decaf myths.”

De Caf-Man is a video-game inspired board game that will provide competitors with three unique, decaf-based sensory challenges. Each challenge has its own coffee that will be sent out by Swiss Water. Players will then progress though a Pac-Man-esque maze as they complete each of the challenges. With all challenged finished, players will submit their answers by May 7th and post about the De Caf-Man Challenge on their Instagram wall and stories, making sure to tag Swiss Water and use the hashtag #decafmanchallenge. The person with the most right answers takes home the grand prize of a La Marzocco Linea Mini and La Marzocco espresso grinder. In the event of a tie, guest judges Nicole Battefeld (WCIGS Finalist, Germany), Andre Eiermann (WBC Semi-Finalist, Switzerland) and Valentina Palange (Coffee Blogger and Media Consultant, Italy) will help decide the victor.

But the De Caf-Man Challenge is not winner take all; there are some pretty killer prizes for second and third place as well. The Runner-Up will walk away with a Ratio Six brewer and the bronze medalist earns themselves a Comandante hand grinder in navy blue.

And the best part is, the De Caf-Man Challenge is completely free to enter. Registration is limited to 200 entrants—awarded on a first come first served basis—and is open right this very second!
