Breaking today, the first public offering is now shipping from Tonx.org, the work of longtime industry stalwart and “well known coffee guy” Tony Konecny. Their first coffee available to the slurping public is Finca Monte Rey, a “sweet, easy and versatile” coffee from El Salvador.

Tonx wants you to drink good coffee. We are a team of coffee fanatics dedicated to becoming your best option for getting the best beans for brewing at your home, your office, or your batcave (if you are Batman). We are led by well known coffee guy Tony Konecny who has roasted literally millions of beans in his strange career (usually not one at a time). We think coffee can and should be both great and approachable. We sweat the fussy details so that you don’t have to. We aim to always be delightful in your press, aero, cone, chemex, hario, clever coffee making device. If it is not, let us know and we’ll make it right.
Hmm…so, Handsome Coffee Roasters, Tonx, Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters…this year’s Sprudgie Awards may have to add a Best New California Roaster category.
