Austin Coffee Field Day

The Austin Coffee Collective will host its inaugural fundraising event, Austin Coffee Field Day, on Saturday, November 2 at the historic Long Time. Baristas, roasters, and other coffee people will go head-to-head in classic field day games and a casual kickball tournament. This event is sponsored by Oatly, Odeko, Eversys, Spirit Tea, and Falcon Coffee.

Participating cafes include Epoch, Creature, Texas Coffee Traders, Summer Moon, Desnudo, Cosmic, Cenizo, Once Over, Rising Tide Roast Collab, Dhaba Cafe, and Dark Horse Tattoo, Barber, and Coffee.

Spectators are welcome! There will be hot dogs, peanuts in the shell, Oatly soft serve, free drinks, flash tattoos, live music, and more. This event is all-ages and family-friendly. If you love Austin’s coffee scene, we’d love to see you there. Funds raised from this event will help provide professional development opportunities, education, and mutual aid to small coffee businesses in Austin and their employees.

“The Austin Coffee Collective does more than just latte art throwdowns,” says President Miranda Haney. “We hope coffee people will come out to Field Day to unleash their inner child. It’s an opportunity to celebrate and remember what makes our community so awesome — joy, passion, and a little friendly competition.”

Austin Coffee Collective is a 501c3 organization providing central Texas coffee professionals with opportunities for community, education, and professional development. We host monthly latte art throwdowns, gatherings, forums, classes, guest speakers, and more in Austin and the surrounding areas.
