So I was cruisin’ Cosmo as I am wont to do on a Friday morning—y’know, the usual—when much to my astonishment, I found out that there’s now an alcoholic cold brew. I’m surprised it took this long.

It’s called Bad Larry’s Cold Hard Coffee and according to the only Cosmo article I’ve ever read that wasn’t about the best ways to navigate my and others’ nether regions, it’s “cold brew coffee that’s steeped for more than 16 hours and infused with malt liquor.” Each 11.5-ounce can of the coffee version of Four Loko (Four Lo-Kold? Four Barrel Lo-Kold Brew? Joke is a work in progress) sits at a healthy 6% ABV and contains 180mg of caffeine, which is a little more than that of a 12-ounce cup of drip.

A Bad Larry’s Cold Hard Coffee four-pack—which again, is like 16 Lokos—will retail for $10 once it hits shelves in the Midwest, with hopes of selling nationwide within the year.

So there you have it, malt liquor-infused cold brew. I don’t think Bad Larry will be altering my plans to sneak in a few Stumptown coldies into my local pool this summer, but maybe you’re the sippin-cold-brew-from-a-brown-paper-bag type. What I really want to know is, who is this Bad Larry? Does he read Cosmo too? Will he share his lovin’ tips
