It is said that America runs on Dunkin’, but now it can also stagger, reel, and go ass over teakettle into a nearby garbage can, all for the amusements of the U S of A’s equally wobbly friends. This is thanks to brand’s latest creation, Dunkin’ Spiked, a new line of alcoholic and ready-to-drink coffee and tea beverages.

The existence of the new offering was first noted by Vinepair, who reported on an approved list of labels on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau’s database, showing a list of hard coffee and tea labels under the moniker Dunkin’ Spiked.

Dunkin’, which has outgrown such childish pursuits as Donuts and into more adult Spiked things, has sneakily created a new website for their tipply offerings, which shows a total of eight different expressions of caffeine and alcohol, four coffee and four tea. Clocking in at 6% ABV, the Iced Coffee expressions included Original, Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla. Meanwhile, at a slightly lower 5% ABV, the Iced Teas are Slightly Sweet, Half & Half (the other half being lemonade), Strawberry Dragonfruit, and Mango Pineapple. Per the website, the Original Iced Coffee and Slightly Sweet Iced Tea will both be available in four-pack 12oz cans, 19.2oz single-serve cans, and as part of either the Coffee or Tea Mix Pack. The other six flavors will only be available as part of their respective Mix Pack.

Per Vinepair, the new drinks are all malt-based beverages and will be produced by fellow Boston company Harpoon Brewery, with whom Dunkin’ has previously collaborated with on a seasonal Dunkin’ Harpoon collection of beers.

There is not yet any word on the release date or price point for the Dunkin’ Spiked offerings, with Vinepair noting that the holdup may be caused in part by the ATTTB approval process. While Dunkin’ has received approval for five of its labels in May of this year, three are still in the works. An official announcement may follow shortly after those three have been squared away.

As much as it pains my little coffee heart to say, it’s the Tea Mix Pack that sounds the best. Strawberry Dragonfruit? Mango Pineapple? I mean, c’mon, there’s no way Caramel or Vanilla stood a chance.
