Hoo buddy are there a lot of fun coffee things happening in New York City this week. Yesterday, we reported on Slurptoberfest, a palate training competition taking place at Counter Culture’s New York Training Lab. But if you go, you may want to wear your dancing shoes, because taking place the same day (though ending much, much later) is the Coffee Disco at Sey Coffee in Bushwick.

Corresponding with the beginning of the New York Coffee Festival, the third installment of the Coffee Disco takes place Friday, October 11th, and does it ever look like a good time. There will of course be dancing, but to limber up those dancing feet for the sweet sounds from Miss Mustard and DJ Crystal Beth (and perhaps provide a little extra courage to try out those new moves you’ve been workshopping), Coffee Disco has teamed up with the Turk’s Inn and Recess for a cocktail collaboration. There will be pierogies and prizes and gift bags galore (for the first 175 entrants)!

Entrance to the Coffee Disco comes with a suggested donation of $10, with all proceeds going to the Women in Coffee Project. Tickets can be purchased via the Coffee Disco Eventbrite page.

It all gets started at 8:00pm on Friday, October 11th at Sey Coffee in Bushwick. For more information, visit the Coffee Disco’s official website.
