Outstanding Designer Finalist

We are nominating Grant Wortley for the Outstanding Designer award. Grant is the sole designer for Madcap Coffee and its sub-brand, dito coffee. Grant began his journey with us as a barista at Madcap’s Monroe Center cafe location in the fall of 2018. He retired from his bar shifts to become our brand designer in the spring of 2022.

Since, Grant has made a historical impact on Madcap’s brand. Grant redesigned Madcap’s packaging to both update its new visual identity, and to improve the logistics of assembly. From packaging to photography, cafe design to vinyl signage, Grant has played an important role in reinforcing the brand identity at Madcap.

We are most recently proud of his work on dito coffee, wherein Grant designed the entire visual branding. A challenge to think outside the minimal black-and-white box of Madcap Coffee, dito coffee tested and strengthened Grant’s design skills from start to finish.
