Swasti Mittal’s redesigned packaging for Equator Coffees blends the brand’s heritage with a vision for the future. Retaining iconic elements like bold red, stark black, and signature tiger logo, she introduced radiant sun rays symbolizing optimism and forward momentum.
Swasti also revamped the packaging’s functionality with a new labeling system, using color to differentiate blends, single origins, and more, while adding detailed roast profiles, origins, and processing methods. Her immersive design process—spending time in the roastery and engaging with the founders—ensured the redesign stayed true to Equator’s identity.
The result is a visually striking and cohesive system that celebrates Equator’s legacy while inviting customers to explore its exceptional coffee.
