Outstanding Design Achievement: Café / Roasting Facility Finalist
Coinciding with its 10th anniversary, Common Grounds Coffee Company opened its Terra cafe and Tennis Club in late July 2024. The classic sport of tennis inspires its contemporary-style building: the predominantly terracotta exterior and interior take after the color of the clay court.
Terra is located on a 1,400-square-meter space with a 140 pax capacity, making it Common Grounds’ largest store to date with facilities that attract Jakarta’s hippest crowds. At level 2, coffee enthusiasts can indulge at the exclusive coffee omakase bar called the Trophy Room.
Common Grounds Terra and Menteng Tennis Club is where specialty coffee meets tennis club. Tennis hobbyists and professionals can play their hearts out on the terracotta and wine-colored hard court at the Menteng Tennis Club, and chill in the locker room with Common Grounds’ food and drinks anytime during their session.
