Event and content programming in coffee is tough. Beyond presenting a delicious coffee table, or sharing a bit of knowledge, how do you make an event series stand out? What gets the butts in seats, puts the spit cups in hand, has folks engaged in the knowledge you’re trying share?

I’m not sure there’s a silver bullet, but last year we were blown away by the spate of programming presented by our longtime partners at Cafe Imports, those Minneapolis-based importers of green coffee from around the world. Our experience at their 2016 Legendary Coffee Producers event in Minneapolis made for some of our very favorite producer-focused content of the year, particularly this series of interviews with notable coffee producers like Jacques Carneiro of Carmo Coffees (Brazil), Francisca Chacon of Finca Las Lajas (Costa Rica), and Juan Jose Moguel and Juan Jose Moguel Jr. of Finca Nueva Linda (Mexico).

Jump forward to 2017, and we’re excited to be joining Cafe Imports as the exclusive media partners for this year’s iteration of the event: the Legendary Coffee Tour, a series of cuppings, panels, and events happening in Toronto (May 10th with Boxcar Social), Miami (May 17th with All Day MIA), Tampa Bay (May 18th with Buddy Brew Coffee), Indianapolis (May 25th at The Tube Factory), and Denver (June 2nd with Huckleberry Coffee). If you live in or around any of these cities, please join us along with our partners at Cafe Imports for this unique, memorable programming series, with panel guests and more details announced for each event in the coming weeks.

Much more information is available at Cafe Imports’ official website. Join us! It’s going to be legend…wait for it…ary, legendary.
