Two days and 53 competitors later and Round One of the 2024 World Barista Championship in Busan, South Korea in officially in the books. It’s the marathon stage of the proceedings, with over 18 hours of routines being undertaken to get to where we are now. And where we are now is on the cusp of the Semi-Finals.
This is where the dream ends for many competitors, but for the 16 that moved on to the Semi-Final round, the dream is still very much alive. They will be taking the stage tomorrow to give their routines another run-through in hopes of being part of the last six to go on to the Finals.
