Dennis Coles is getting into the coffee shop game. Better known as Ghostface Killah from the seminal rap collective The Wu-Tang Clan, Coles has co-founded a coffee shop on New Yorkโ€™s Staten Island called, what else, Killah Koffee Shop.

Per SILive, the soon-to-open cafe will be located in Staten Islandโ€™s West Brighton neighborhood and will be the flagship store for Killah Koffee, a coffee brand started by Coles and fellow owners Ross Filler and Shawn Wigs. For the past year, the roasting company has existed online-only, selling various coffee blends directly to consumers. But with the opening of Killah Koffee Shop, the brand will have its first brick and mortar.

To celebrate the opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the cafe as part of Ghostface Killah Day and was attended by New York City mayor Eric Adams along with other local elected officials and community members. At the celebration, Coles received a Proclamation from Mayor Adams as well as a citation from Rep. Nicole Malliotakis โ€œthanking the Wu-Tang member for his contribution to music and congratulating Killah Koffee Shopโ€™s grand opening.โ€ Mayor Adams went on to praise the gruff-voiced emcee for his contributions to his local community, calling him โ€œan institution and an inspiration.โ€

โ€œThereโ€™s so many people coming out here seeing a performer, a young person who grew up here who lived in public housing and went to public school, and now is able to have a business out here; just coming back to the community. Thatโ€™s what itโ€™s all about. So we just want to say, โ€˜thank you.โ€™ โ€˜Thank you for reinvesting,โ€™โ€ the mayor said.

Per SILive, Killah Koffee Shop is not yet open to the public, but co-owner Filler says that it is imminent. Until then, those looking to get a taste of Killah Koffee for themselves can order coffee directly from Killah Koffee’s official website.
