The No Filter Coffee Fest is back! After a two-year-long COVID hiatus, the No Filter Coffee Fest née Pour Coffee Festival is returning to Charlotte, North Carolina next month to showcase the exciting coffee scene taking shape around the Southeastern United States. And this year is going to be the biggest event yet.

Taking place Sunday, September 25th at Camp North End, the No Filter Coffee Fest is the work of industry veterans Diana Mnatsakanyan-Sapp of Oatly and Matt Dudley of Marco Beverage Systems. This year they’ve added Erin Hunter, founder of marketing agency Let’s Meet CLT, to help the festival reach an even wider audience.

On tap at the all-day event will be a host of learning experiences curated by Talk Coffee To Me’s Brianna Berry. Educational talks for the day range from industry-driven topics like a panel discussion on developing a career in coffee to more consumer-focused talks about the effects of different processing method and how water impacts the flavor of your coffee to even discussions of mixology and coffee mocktails.

And because this is an all-day coffee festival, there will be no shortage of Southeastern roasters on hand to dole out as many samples as your jittery little heart can handle. Roasters in attendance include: Black & White, PERC, Little Waves, Methodical, Nightflyer, Hex, Counter Culture, Summit, and so many more. Each of the 20+ roasters will also take a turn behind the bar at the La Marzocco Cafe to serve up espresso beverages.

If you are already feeling overcaffeinated just at the thought, No Filter has a handful of non-coffee companies and food purveyors to help you level out. Perhaps a little Dona chai, Huskwell cascara, Rishi Tea and their Sparkling Botanicals brand, Spirit Tea, or Slingshot to pair with Conjure craft chocolate, Empanadería bakery goods, Pepperbox donuts, or Macarons by Mandy may be more up your alley.

It’s going to be a big day with a whole lot of coffee. Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now via the No Filter website. For more information on the event, COVID-19 and safety protocols, or to see a full roster of events or all the roasters who will be in attendance, visit No Filter Coffee Fest’s official website.
