After being persona non grata during in 2020, reusable cups are now being allowed back at cafes worldwide. A casualty of the initial fight against a virus we knew little-to-nothing about, reusable cups were banned for a time in favor of single-use as a means of preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

Reusable cups are being welcomed into coffee shops again and we no longer have to worry about mortgaging the future to survive the present (in this instant anyway). And our friends at KeepCup want to know about your reusables habits.

With their annual reuse survey, the Australian-born reusable cup manufacturer wants to know more about howโ€”and whyโ€”you do or donโ€™t forgo single use items. This data will help inform their โ€œLife Cycle Analysis and helps us do a better job of encouraging reuse and reducing our impact.โ€ The survey is completely anonymous and can be completed in about five minutes.

When it comes to reusable coffee cups, 2021 was a year in transition. And as we are hopefully crawling our way back to normalcy, robust data on reusable trends is now more important than ever. Weโ€™re only a few minutes to midnight on the sustainability clock, and it doesnโ€™t stop ticking because humanity canโ€™t seem to agree on taking the pandemic seriously or not.

So if youโ€™ve got a spare five minutes, consider taking the KeepCup survey.
