The Hemro Group Comes To America With A Seattle Showroom

The Hemro Group has landed in the United States. Though the name may be a new one, the company—or companies—certainly are not. After a successful rebrand, Hemro is now the organizational umbrella under which four coffee brands now operate: Mahlkönig, Ditting, Anfim, and HeyCafé. With the rebrand comes a commitment to a larger presence in the United States, and for Hemro, that means a brand-new office and showroom in Seattle, Washington.

Located in the historic Rainier Brewery Bottling Plant building in the Georgetown neighborhood, the new space—opened in October—represents the first time all four of Hemro’s brands have been represented by a brick-and-mortar in the United States. The multi-functional space will operate as a fulfillment center for both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business orders as well as a training lab, showroom, and demo space for all four brands.

“In addition to the building itself being a historical and interesting space with exposed brick walls, high ceilings and original hardwood floors, easily located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle (surrounded by great food!) we selected this location because of its ability to host guests,” Hemro’s Global Digital & E-Commerce Manager Gretchen Hackler tells Sprudge. “There is a large communal lounge next to our office door, and our space is large/open enough to accommodate for trainings, demos and events; it’s perfect for our future plans to open this space to host the coffee community.“

With the new physical space comes online one as well, with the launch of the all-new Mahlkoenig.us website, which will be home the full lineup of grinders, spare parts, burrs, accessories and branded merch. And of course, there’s the new Mahlkönig app, available on iOS and GooglePlay, designed with the home barista in mind.
