WAC events will happen hot and heavy between now and June, leading up to the 2016 World AeroPress Championship event in Dublin, Ireland. The first slate of international events have now been announced, complete with gorgeous poster art, but many more will be announced soon, including an intriguing slate of cross-continental events happening in the United States. Let’s have a look at who’s up first for the global tournament.
Denmark
Hosted by The Coffee Collective at theirย Godthรฅbsvej location in Copenhagen, this event happens at 2pm on Sunday, March 6th. 18 total spots are available, and entry costs DKK 250. Saudi Arabia
This is the first-ever World AeroPress Championship event in Saudi Arabia. Hosted by Sulalat Coffee / Varietal Cafe at Camel Step Coffee in Riyadh, this event happens at 7pm on March 11th. The folks behind this event expect 72+ entrants, and it’s completely free to enter. You can learn much more about this event here on its official website. New Zealand
This event happens at Ozone Coffee in New Plymouth, New Zealand, roughly halfway between Wellington and Auckland, on Saturday, April 2nd beginning at 5pm. The first of five Australian regional events happens on 5pm on Saturday, February 27th at the Single O Roastworks in Botany, NSW.
