The internet is a wild place full of truly, truly bizarre things. Some, most really, are just terrible, scourges on humanity that make you wonder if the internet was actually a good idea at all. Others, though, in their abundant weirdness are nothing short of pure delight. It is in this latter category that the social media presence of one Brian Jordan Alvarez falls. Through no small amount of bizarre character work and with the help of random other strangers on the internet, the actor creates some of the strangest yet most entertaining โ€œsongsโ€ existing in the 1โ€™s and 0โ€™s of the online world. And his most recent and yet unfinished opus is all about coffee.

On his Instagram and TikTok, the Will & Grace and Jane the Virgin actor uses a variety of filters to create a host of characters. Thereโ€™s spiritual guru Marni T, there’s Charleston, SC realtor Becky Lombardi whoโ€™ll sell you a house for under $200K, and of course thereโ€™s Antipodean meathead Rick. And then thereโ€™s TJ Mack, who singularly bizarre otherness is as disturbing as it is humorous. And ole TJ has been known to cut a track or two, or at least the vocals, and then the magic of the internet does its thing.

After Alvarez as TJ Mack posts a truly haunting a capella, other uses will then either Remix or Duet it (depending on their preferred social media platform) to add accompanying music. Check it out for yourself.

Itโ€™s wonderfully silly. And TJ Mackโ€™s most recent song is all about coffee and is very much in need of a background arrangement to make it lessโ€ฆ whatever it is. And unlike the last muzack song, this one, according to the video, โ€œis going to be a techno track.โ€ And I for one cannot wait for the bass to drop on this jam.

So if you are an electronic music creator who also fancies a fancy coffee, please, Iโ€™m begging you, give this the uncha unchaโ€™s it needs and that frankly we all deserve. Could this be the track that kicks off Hot Coffee Summer? Only one way to find out. Bring this song to life.
