Is Orlando’s Christopher Bean Coffee Company up in smoke? Florida law enforcement raided the roast-works and discovered a secret room with another kind of green, and Chris Brown – the upstanding small business owner, not the confusingly famous entertainer – is accused of growing marijuana plants. He was arrested today. Orlando Sentinel has more:
Port Orange Police detectives armed with a search warrant found several marijuana plants growing inside a room at East Coast Roasters Coffee, 413 Oak Place, Unit #J, the same address as his better-known business, the Christopher Bean Coffee Co.
Brown, 48, was arrested at his Ponce Inlet home today.
He faces charges of cultivation of cannabis and possession of cannabis over 20 grams. His bond was set at $20,000.
This is a super bummer, and although we never touch the stuff, we think Christopher Bean-Brown is being unfairly persecuted. Sprudge.com reached out to the blog “Spro and Dro” for further comment:
“Ohh sh*t! No tickets needed for this trip to origin!”
Thank you, Spro and Dro.
