But look a little closer and you’ll find a city dedicated to hospitality, home to one of America’s most fascinating, varied and deep food and beverage scenes, offering a little bit of something for everyone.
This of course includes coffee, and Vegas has come a long ways over the last decade in terms of its specialty coffee scene. New arrival Bungalow Coffee Co. is now open in the LV Arts District, offering excellent full-service brunch and coffee options to the city. Whether you’re a full time Las Vegas resident or just visiting, Bungalow deserves to be on your list.

For those who arenโt familiar, will you tell us about your company?
Bungalow Coffee Co. just opened its doors in March and is elevating the local coffee shop experience! We are located in the Arts District boasting 2,500 sq. ft. and offer specialty classic caffeinated beverages, a rotating pour-over menu, pastries with vegan options from local food vendors, toasts, breakfast, and light lunch.
We wanted to open a coffee shop where local creatives can come together and collaborate, all while staying caffeinated with a hand-crafted latte or pour-over from one of our baristas. We are a coffee shop that is rooted in community.
We are the only coffee shop in town that serves Onyx Coffee Lab, and we plan to launch a multi-roasting program here soon where we will highlight well-known coffee roasters and their best-selling flavors. This will be a coffee loverโs new obsession!
We wanted to work with local food vendors to serve their creations on our menu and our guests are loving it! Some of our popular items are the All I Avo Wanted toast, or the English Muffin Breakfast Sandi. We also serve a charcuterie board, which is great for sharing!
Can you tell us a bit about the new space?
We are located in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas, with 2,500 square feet we are much larger than the coffee shops located nearby. We have leaned into the boho feel with plants throughout sourced from local vendors and a large bungalow mural painted by local artists. We say we have an upscale coffee shop feel with elevated booths, tables, chairs to make one want to come connect, collaborate, and caffeinate.
Whatโs your approach to coffee?
We just recently began rolling out a multi-roaster program with Onyx Coffee Lab at the head of our program. We are currently the only coffee shop to offer Onyx in Las Vegas. With the roll out of the multi-roaster program we are also featuring Camber Coffee and Little Buffalo on pour-over and retail.

How is your project considering sustainability?
We have began developing recycling programs within our space. We have began donating all our our used coffee grounds to various community gardens and can’t wait to see what else we can think of with our other “waste” items.
Whatโs your hopeful target opening date/month?
We opened on 3/15/2021 with very strict COVID protocols in place throughout the city of Las Vegas. The 2500-square-foot space allowed us to design and open the space with the spacious seating required by the state.
Are you working with craftspeople, architects, and/or creatives that youโd like to mention?
We hired Chris Deferio (Keys to the Shop) to be our consultant and lead our initial training program. @TheSocialBungalow is our digital based business that provided the initial concept and social media. Alex at High Moon Studios helped a lot with our branding. We also contracted with a local chef that has worked up and down the Las Vegas Strip to help with our food program that since launch, has been a huge hit!
