Sprudge.com is proud to help spread the word: Coffee Kids and the WBC will be teaming together to host a number of fundraising and awareness events at WBC 2010. Coffee Kids is, of course, one of our community’s leading charitable organizations, , an international nonprofit dedicated to helping coffee-farming families, who maintain a presence at events on a regional, national, and international level. In less than two months (!), London will be a host to an epic pairing of events: the WBC, the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe Conference and Caffé Culture Show.

Joint Coffee Kids/WBC events at this year’s shindig include:

*At the event, there will be a Coffee Kids Reception on Thursday, June 24 at 6pm (location to be announced soon, stay tuned). Slated for the soiree is a
presentation from Coffee Kids Executive Director Carolyn Fairman, a celebrity barista quiz show, and, to the delight of your Sprudge.com editors, a full and open bar.

* A coffee map to help guide you on the must-crawl coffee destinations around London. Shoppes (with an extra e and p!) will be participating in the fundraising fun.

Coffee Kids is a really great organizaton, and you can learn more about them at www.coffeekids.org. We can’t wait to buzz in early and often at the celebrity barista quizmaster showdown!
