Rumors! Intrigue! French Roast!

Starbucks continues in its quest to buy out progenitors (Peet’s) and original competition alike (Tully’s, Wet Whisker, aka Seattle’s Best Coffee). Their penultimate goal is almost surely a re-enactment of the myth of Ouroboros, ancient symbol of a snake or dragon in the constant act of self-consumption. Reflexivity, rebirth and eternal return – the Ouroboros seeks to live forever by ceaselessly consuming its own tail.
