Go east, young wines. After the smashing success that was the inaugural Wild World Wine Festival in Austin, Texas, the natural wine fair is pulling up its stakes and heading to New York City. Taking place October 28th at Bergโ€™n, a Brooklyn beer hall and event space, Wild World NYC is bringing the same natural wine and artisan brewery vibes from the Austin fair but with a very New York bent.

For the NYC event, Wild World will feature over 50 different bottles in a salon-style tasting session, combining some of the best and most exciting producers locally, nationally, and abroad. Those in attendance include: Swick Wines (OR), Broc Cellars (CA), Clos Lentiscus (Spain), and Domaine Rapatel (France). Adding to the pour list, there will also be a ton of importers on hand like Goatboy Selections, Louis/Dressner Selections, Selections de la Viรฑa, and Selection Massale. One the beer side, local favorites Grimm Artisan Ales and Brooklyn Brewery headline alongside previous Wild World host and attendee Jester King Brewery and Black Project Spontaneous and Wild Ales, respectively.

And if all that isnโ€™t enough for you, Wild World is teaming up with the Peripheral Natural Wine Fair on October 26th in Hudson, New York โ€œto include beer, cider, and mead producers, as well as panel discussions centering on organic farming and wild fermentation.โ€

“Austin was a great success!” Wild World founder Byron Bates tells Sprudge. “The turnout was great, the producers were happy and loved being on the farm at Jester King, but the big surprise was how curious people were for the panels and classrooms.” Bates goes on to say that Brooklyn Wild World attendees can expect more panels in the vein of what was seen in Texas. “Austin opened up several great conversations that need to be continued. Thereโ€™s so much hunger for real information.”

Tickets for Wild World NYC are $55 and can be purchased via their Eventbrite page. Tickets for Peripheral can be purchased here. For more information or to see a full list of this yearโ€™s producers in attendance, visit Wild World Wine Fairโ€™s official website.
