Annie Clark, the multi-talented breakout singer-songwriter known as St. Vincent, is also a big coffee aficionado. Her latest album, the eponymous St. Vincent is out today via Republic Records. Music fans in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City can swing by any Intelligentsia Coffee location today and pick up a vinyl copy, alongside a special edition collaboration between the artist and roaster. Called “Bring Me Your Mugs”, this is a special lot of coffee from Intelligentsia’s Flecha Roja project in Costa Rica, specifically set aside for the artist and co-branded as a play on St. Vincent’s most famous single, “Bring Me Your Loves“.

The selection of coffees from Flecha Roja was made by Clark herself, after she and Intelligentsia discovered their mutual admiration for each other’s respective work. A series of samples were sent to the artist on her “Digital Witness” global tour, with Flecha Roja being her personal favorite selection.

Clark is clearly a big fan of good coffee, and of the Intelligentsia brand specifically. In a statement made by the artist and provided to us by our friends and partners at Intelligentsia, she said:

I love coffee. I sometimes get excited at night thinking of the coffee I’ll get to drink in the morning. Coffee is reason to wake up.  There are other reasons, of course. But coffee is the incentive, at the very least. I love Intelligentsia coffee. I have stood at their counter waiting for my order, like a fan waiting for a show. Eager. Expectant.  So when my favorite coffee shop approached me about collaborating on a signature coffee, I was thrilled.

“Bring Me Your Mugs” is now available in Intelligentsia stores starting today, and will be made available via St. Vincent’s official website in the coming days. You can also find St. Vincent‘s new album on vinyl there as well, or buy it digitally. For more information on the Flecha Roja, visit Intelligentsia’s official website — and while you’re there, have a look at the brand new coffee quality cupping form developed by Intelligentsia QC manager Chris Kornman, released to the web earlier this week.
