Well snap our Corbusier and grope that Gropius - this is one beautiful coffee cart. Jonathan Jarrow, owner of Colorado’s Harbinger Coffee, is opening up a small coffee cart next week in Fort Collins, and it. is. STUNNING. The new bar is located at 151 S. College, next to the Drunken Monkey. We got in touch with Jonathan, who gave us a little more information about the concept.

“I’m very pleased with how it’s turned out. I’ve been building it for the last two weeks at a local tool co-op here in Fort Collins called Hammertime Projects. I collaborated with a designer friend of mine on the concept. We wanted to showcase the theater of preparing craft coffee by the cup, so we modeled the general concept off of a puppet theater. Also, since it has to be locked up at night, the rear units come together and lock which keeps the equipment safe. everything is ready except for my brand/logos, which I will apply tomorrow.”

“Harbinger, The Coffee Spot will only be preparing black coffee by the cup, featuring a craft roaster exclusively each month. Starting on Monday I will be featuring Metropolis Coffee from Chicago. I have a long history with them over the four years I spent in Chicago as a barista and as a roaster for Coffee Ambassadors/Ipsento.”

“I’m from Fort Collins originally, and moved back here to start Harbinger. The beginnings are humble, but I’m excited to see where this takes me.”

Really, Jonathan’s photoshopped head pasted on a Brazilian hunk’s body aside, that is a handsome lookin’ coffee cart. More information can be found at www.harbingercoffee.com.
