The staff at Sprudge.com Hayes Valley HQ is beyond enamored with the Handsome Coffee Roaster coffees that keep showing up to our door. It’s like Christmas on our doorstep, but with Mike Phillips instead of Santa. The green coffee itself comes from Coffee Shrub and is roasted somewhere – perhaps out of the back of a van – in Southern California. Our last two deliveries had the coffee tags floating in the coffee like a cracker jack prize:

In this week’s roast they’ve “gone virtual” and put the coffee information up on Tumblr.

Today we’re shipping version 2 of the same coffee we sent last week.  Lourdes de Naranjo. An interesting distinction we’ve noted here at HHQ is that it tastes better.
