For their first course list, Good Form is offering three different curricula to choose from. Thereโs a Pour-Over Brewing class that will cover the โoptimal ratio, dose, and turbulence for making the perfect cup of coffee every time.โ Thereโs also the Home Barista and Latte Art class, discussing the skills and techniques needed for espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art.

Finally, thereโs the Q Arabica Combo Course. Taking place in February at The Crown, Royal Coffeeโs cafe and training space in Oakland, the six-day training course โis a comprehensive program that covers all aspects of grading, cupping, and evaluating specialty coffee.โ Taught by Rothgeb, who has previously been an instructor with the Coffee Quality Institute, the entity behind the Q exam, the first three days are dedicated to the sensory skills needed to pass the Q, with the final three focus on the exams one must pass to become a Q grader.
