A West Virginia man left unattended in a patrol car tried to pull a fast one when he slipped 80 oxycontin pills into an Ohio Highway Patrol officer’s coffee, police said.
The alleged incident happened after a traffic stop along I-77 on June 25. Daniel J. Watts, 25, was alone in the cruiser before being taken into the county jail in New Philadelphia for booking.
