The Mid-Atlantic Northeast Coffee Conference – or MANE – is heading into its fourth year of existence, and truth be told, we’ve kicked ourselves each year for not being able to attend. But self-flagellation, be gone! Sprudge.com will indeed be attending this year’s MANE event in Providence Rhode Island, hosted by Providence’s own New Harvest Coffee Roasters.
We’ll be hosting a live interview panel featuring some of the brightest names in the industry, dutifully lined up to be grilled by your Sprudge editors. A full list of speakers on our panel will be announced shortly, but the live Q&A is titled “Retail Therapy: Innovative Ideas in an Evolving Economy.” Expect our questions to cover the following topics:
- Retail โ how is it evolving? what comes next?
- Cafe Design โ who’s doing it right, right now?
- Brew Gear โ slow pour? batch brew? the arguments for both?
- Indie Marketing – your scourge or savior?
- Life โ what does it all mean?
Sprudge.com will be joining a pretty gosh darn fantastic cadre of fellow speakers and presenters, including key note speaker James Hoffmann (Square Mile Coffee Roasters / 2009 WBC champion), Katie Carguilo (Counter Culture Coffee Roasters / 2012 USBC Champion), Dan Streetman (storied USBC judge / Director of Coffee for Irving Farm), Scott Guglielmino (Project Manager at La Marzocco USA), Colleen Anunu (green buyer for Gimme! Coffee), Jay Caragay (owner of Spro / noted rabblerouser), Matt Brown (Cafe Imports) and many, many more.
MANE happens in Providence, Rhode Island this coming October 12th-14th. Tons more information available over on the MANE page, where registration will begin very soon. Stay tuned to Sprudge.com for more info!
