Tonx Konecny is unequivocally our favorite source for artful West Coast coffee photography, and his latest Flickr set proves why. Check out these gorgeous shots of the newly opened Paper or Plastik Cafe, located in the “quietly blooming” Los Angeles neighborhood of Mid City. It’s another example of the shared space theory in specialty coffee (think Prufrock Coffee in London, or Everyman Espresso in NYC); artists Yasha and Anya Michelson have created a sleek, design-minded cafe inside a gorgeous ballet studio. The fact that they’re serving Intelligentsia and Ecco certainly doesn’t hurt, either.
