Intelligentsia Coffee and Tea’s 4th annual Extraordinary Coffee Workshop kicks off today in Chicago, Illinois. Drawing in producers from around the world, ECW is the living, breathing embodiment of Intelligentsia’s Direct Trade network, and a rare opportunity to gather people from all corners of the globe for cupping, roasting, lectures, dinners, and retail demo experiences.
We attended last year’s ECW event in Los Angeles (relive that coverage here), but due to schedule commitments we must look in on this year’s event from afar. ECW 2011 was entirely closed to the public, but if you happen to be in the Chicago area, you can experience one small part of the ECW 2012 yourself this coming Friday September 21st, from 9:30am to 11:30am, at all of Intelli’s Chicago retail locations.
