According to the fine folks at Starbucks Gossip, Howard Schultz is offering up an evening of his time to the highest bidder! If it were us, we’d take him to the Wild Ginger, and talk about his infrequent drunken half-naked TwitPics. Then we’d re-enact that scene from with him from “Sleepless and Seattle” — you know, where Rob Reiner and Tom Hanks are talking about how the ladies like nice butts. Sounds fun!

Howard Schultz has teamed up with Charitybuzz.com to auction off a lunch with the Starbucks CEO at a restaurant in New York or Seattle.

“During the exclusive experience, Schultz will answer questions about his brand philosophy and impart a bit of the wisdom that has led him to become one of the most successful figures in business,” says the press releaseย announcing the auction.

Bidding on the lunch, which Charitybuzz values at $10,000, starts today and ends on November 14. (The high bid is currently $1,600.) The winner can take six guests to the Schultz shindig.

Proceeds of the auction will benefit The Humane Society of the United States, the nation’s largest and most effective animal protection organization.
