Bogota Bonanza! Second Semester Colombian Coffee Looks Muy Bueno

Pereira

This year’s “second semester” Colombia coffee “will be the biggest coffee harvest in recent years.” The 2009 harvest suffered low yields due to heavy rains.

“Last year we took a smaller amount, because the beginning of 2009 was very rainy and found that low blooms and low production,” says a spokesperson for Pineda, the Colombian Committee of Coffee Growers.
