Batdorf and Bronson is at TEDx: Peachtree today, happening at the fabulous Buckhead Theater! This event’s theme is Transcend, and by the looks of the photographs, this concept is being embodied on the coffee side of things (although they aren’t actually seving anything from Transcend – that would have been pretty cheeky). Led by Batdorf’s coffee educator and noted sugar bear Jason Dominy, a crack team of coffee professionals – including Panda Fernandez (Espresso Parts) and Mallory Roth (Askinosie Chocolates), among others – have set up two distinct brew bars for the 500 + folks at TEDx Peachtree. Bar one feature’s Batdorf’s Nicaragua San Jose brewed us five different methods, so folks can mix and match til they find the method that suits them just fine; bar two features Batdorf’s Guatemala Finca El Valle brewed at one week off roast, side by side with the same coffee brewed 8 weeks off roast. That’s fresh, yo.

As if 12 innovative, transcendent talks weren’t enough, TEDxPeachtree 2012 also is excited to bring tasty bites and sips to this year’s event courtesy of Frozen Pints Craft Beer Ice Cream and Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters.
Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters: Since 1986, Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters has been handcrafting the finest coffees from around the globe, and we thought their Certified Organic, Fair Trade Certified and Bird-Friendly, Shade Grown java would be a perfect fit at TEDxPeachtree 2012. These coffee aficionados are bringing their fresh beans and limited edition cups o’ joe to The Buckhead Theatre for a caffeine-fueled pick me up.
