I came up with a clear seasoned broth that is an excellent hot beverage on a cold evening, especially if you're not feeling well, and it takes <5 min. to make in a drip coffee maker.

3-1/4 Cup Water
3 Bullion Cubes
½ tsp. Herb Mix
1 tsp. Seasoning Mix

Pour water into a drip coffee maker reservoir. Place a coffee filter in the filter basket and put remaining ingredients in the center, and start brewing.
NOTE: do not use cup markings on carafe to measure water as they are not true cup measurements.
NOTE: the ingredients in the filter will hinder the flow of water, which is a good thing because it allows for more steeping (more flavor), but it isn’t a good thing if the filter basket overflows. The amount of water you start with should not exceed 1-1/2 times the amount that the filter basket will hold (adjust recipe as needed). For the same reason, make each batch with a new filter.

These mixes will make 24 – 3 cup batches.
Store them in air-tight containers.

Herb Mix:
2 Tbsp Parsley
1-1/2 tsp Celery Flakes
1 tsp Dill Weed
1 tsp Marjoram
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Savory

Seasoning Mix:
3 Tbsp Onion Powder
2 Tbsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Lemon Pepper
1-1/2 tsp Cumin
1-1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Conversion: 1 Tbsp = 3 tsp
