It’s here! A day we’ve been buzzing about here at Sprudge HQ since last May, when we announced open registration and a distinguished panel of judges for the 2016 Coffee Masters Tournament at the New York Coffee Festival. Now the 16 competitors for the competition have been revealed, and we’ll be watching them all come September in Manhattan.

Let’s meet the global roster of competitors, and check out the videos they submitted as part of the selection process. Notable first-timers include Erika Lee Vonie of Variety Coffee, Michael Butterworth of Quills Coffee, and Rie Hanao from Koppi; returning victory threats include Yuko Inoue of Timberyard (2nd overall at the 2016 London Coffee Masters), Nick Mabey of Assembly Coffee, and Reef Bessette of Saint Frank.

Gotta catch ’em all!
